Leave Balances
Understanding your leave allowance and remaining balance.
Your balance
Your leave balance shows how many days you have remaining for each leave type. View it from your dashboard or Requests page.

How balances work
- Total allowance — days allocated per leave year
- Used — days taken (approved requests for past dates)
- Pending — days requested but not yet taken
- Remaining — what's left to book
Public holidays are never deducted from your allowance. If you book a week that includes a bank holiday, only 4 working days are deducted.
Pro-rata allowances
For employees who join mid-year, Offly automatically calculates a pro-rated allowance based on:
- Their start date
- The leave year start month
- The total annual allowance
Viewing your team's balances
Admins and approvers can view team balances under Team → Balances to help with resource planning.
