Public Holidays
Automatic public holiday management by country and region.
How public holidays work
Offly automatically imports public holidays for your country. These holidays:
- Appear on the wallchart as background shading
- Are excluded from leave deductions (a week off including a bank holiday = 4 days deducted)
- Are visible to all team members

Managing holidays
Navigate to Settings → Public Holidays to:
- View all imported holidays for the current year
- Add custom company holidays (e.g. company day off, Christmas shutdown)
- Remove individual holidays that don't apply to your team

Regional holidays
Some countries have regional holidays. Offly supports region-specific calendars — select your region during setup or in Settings.
Custom holidays
Click Add Holiday to create organisation-specific days off that aren't official public holidays. These work the same way — excluded from deductions and shown on the wallchart.
